Search doesnt seem to work very well

When searching for members, I have encountered an inconsistent (and randomly repeated) error in the search.
Sometimes I search on the name of a member (just using first or last name) and the result does not include this member. Then I might go and actually view that members profile (by looking for them in the alphabetical list) and then a subsequent search will suddenly start finding them.
Any thoughts?

Peter, I think search may be working for you but there appears to be a small delay for indexing search. I tested search by adding and deleting keywords and noticed this delay. Its not a long delay so I'm not concerned. It appears to be a normal indexing delay IMO.
Interestingly, I inadvertantly discovered a search issue within Champions.
Example: in the discussion forum search type "tag" and 80 results show up: http://champions.collectivex.com/search/results?target=&term=tag&scope=forums
But enter "tagging" and the search does not find some search forums that would certainly have been indexed by now: http://champions.collectivex.com/search/results?target=&term=tagging&scope=forums
