Try this:
1. Click "Send private message "
Pop Up window (editor) opens.
2. Click on the main editor window, you will see yoru cursor blinking, ready for you to write a message
3. Click "Cancel".
Th editor window closes
4. Click "Send private message " again.
YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TYPE ANYTHING. THE EDITOR GETS LOCKED UP.
Workaround I found:
(F5) refresh the profile page of teh person you are trying to send a private message and then try sending private message - It works...
BTW all of this in the basic editor tab. If you switch tabs , it works fine... I gues it something related to refreshing the editor

If so, could you let us know which web browser, operating system, and the versions of both?
I am using IE7 in Windows 2000 . I also have access to other browsers and OS platforms. I will test in other oS'es and then update you . Thank you

I checked with IE7 on Windows Xp & Vista - Problem can be recreated/exists
Firefox on Windows 2000,vista,Xp- works fine !

I'll check this with IE7 later on today.
I really hope that this is easily duplicated - previously we had issues with Norton AntiVirus breaking this page. Disabling it fixed the problem (which is definitely annoying).
