News feed problem with Cyrillic languages

Hello,


On my site I am using the news feed module and I get RSS feed from sites, where the content is in Cyrillic language.


The problem is that every letter is replaced with "?" and the content in the module is not readable. (This problem is since 2-3 weeks.)

Hi, Emil. While Groupsites today do not support multiple languages, I'm not sure how the module should behave and I've noted this under Ticket #9646203. Did the news module ever successfully display the Cyrillic language, or is this something that changed in the past 2-3 weeks?

In the past I have had problems with that, but they were corrected. The module was working fine and was displaying successfully Cyrillic language. Something changed in the past 2-3 weeks. 


I tried reading the feeds. Immediately after this operation, everything was fine, but on the next loading of the page this was messed up.

There have been more than 3 weeks, since this issue was submited.


There is still no change or I don;t see any progress about that. 


This part is important for our groupsite!!!

I'm sorry for the delay!  Our Development team hopes to get to this ticket on Friday, March 4th.  We had hoped to get to it sooner,  but the priority level on this ticket was lowered because of more global priorities.
