Statistics Page, measuring email traffic

Groupsites' premium statistics option has an "Email & Invitations" area that will allow you to see email activity data by email type. For example, you can see how many Discussion Blasts, Recent Activity Updates, Email blasts, etc. have been sent, viewed or clicked. You can also view how many private messages have been sent within your Groupsite.  

Our statistics do not include individual member data, such as who sent or received those messages, or who clicked on messages and what links they clicked.

You can add or access your Premium statistics by clicking on the "Statistics" link located on the MANAGER > Group Settings page.

Regarding entering a link to a member's profile:

Yes -- you can create a hyperlink to a member's profile in a discussion post or reply, using the hyperlink function of the text editor.  You would create the hyperlink using the URL of the member's profile page as your target for the link.  Here's an example:
