Bug in Re-inviting members

When I re-invite a member with a duplicate email address, I used to get a message saying that the member has been already invited. Recently I observed that I am not getting this. Any ideas ?

Hi, Sanjay - this isn't actually a bug, but you are correct that you used to get a message. We improved our invitations handling in February, specifically to better accommodate large invitations lists. This involved queuing the invitations (so that processing of especially large lists wouldn't time out) and you no longer see that message.
If you re-invite a pending member, they have not declined the original invitation and it is has been more than 24 hours since you last sent them one, the system will send them your new invitation.
We're actually working on enhancements in invitations now, related to the ability to assign members to subgroups. You may see these messages return in the future but the system is not currently designed to provide these.
