Custom HTML/table code not rendering properly in freeform text module

Up to about 2 weeks ago, my custom HTML (basically tables) was working nicely on my summary page. Suddenly, much of the formatting (particularly table attributes) has changed/disappeared.
Has there been a change in the way freeform text modules are showing HTML?

Even the HTML source used in my welcome module has problems. I have to modify the code to make it work.
Gentlemen,
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding HTML changes in the content modules. We are sorry that you are experiencing problems with your content modules! To further enhance security in Groupsites, we changed how we handle the cool widgets and videos you add that use javascript. Javascript (HTML <script> tags) can be present in the embed codes you copy from other websites when you add widgets, video or other interactive content to a Groupsite via content modules.
Diana sent a system message to all Groupsite Managers notifying the Managers of the upcoming changes that went into effect on May 3, 2010. The system message was sent out everyday from April 30, 2010, thru May 4, 2010. Diana also posted a discussion topic in Champions announcing the upcoming changes and the actions that you may need to take. Here is a link to the post in Champions:

Gareth/Sanjay,
Our sanitizer is removing some attributes that it doesn't need to, so we're going to relax that restriction. You should see the change sometime this week, we'll let you know when it happens.
Thanks Paul/ Celeste
I thought the changes did occur around the time of the javascript change, but given that my html didnt involve javascript, didnt think it would affect my summary page. I'll keep my eye on my page during the week and see if it switches back. Thanks for letting me know.
Cheers
Gareth
Gareth,
Take a look now, all table/tr/td/etc. attributes should be allowed now
Hi Paul - yeah my table attributes are working again - cheers for that :)
