Content editor defaulting to textile

The Groupsite content editor is defaulting to textile and cannot be switched to any of the other options. It is happening even in the the Champions site where I am typing this message. What is the problem?

Thanks Diana! Things are back to normal. I appreciate your help.
I have found every now and then the editors (in Chrome) do this. They seem to rectify though. I wonder if there is a bit of a bug in Chrome also that leads to this.
