No Horizontal Scroll Bar When Zooming on Photos

I think my title says it all - I ran into this problem in the photo galleries using two different computers. Without the scroll bar, the zoom feature does little good.

Hi, Ted - Thanks for reporting this. What web browser are you using? I'm finding in Firefox that I have the horizontal scroll bar, and it works, but I have to scroll to the far right of the image to get the vertical scroll bars to work.
I opened Ticket # 2223 so we can get this fixed.

I'm using the latest version of IE on a XP machine.
With IE, I do get a vertical scroll bar which works without any of the issues you described.

Ted - Zooming on photos should work smoothly now. We improved how we handle "zoom" by eliminating the scroll bars and adding a "Full Size"option, instead.
"Full Size" will be especially useful for larger images (over 1000 px). The images will open your Web browser, where you already have good tools built in for scrolling around on a large image.
