Anyone Having Problems Using Internet Explorer?

Several members of one of my groupsites are reporting "things disappearing" and other issues recently using IE 7 and 8. When they switch to Safari everything is fine. Any known problems with IE?

I had similar complaints as well. I rarely use IE. But, most of my users use IE for browsing. It would be helpful if the Groupsite team test all their components on popular browsers(IE, Firefox, Chrome and Safari) thoroughly before moving onto production.
I personally can't stand IE. I mostly use a mac with FF or Safari, but when I have to use a PC I always use FF and usually don't have problems. However, most of my members in multiple groupsites that I manage are on IE. Any comment from the Groupsite support team on this one?
Brian and Sanjay,
Thanks for raising your concerns. We don't have known issues with IE and we do test across the most popular browsers. While we would love to do even more, it would be impossible for us to test every conceivable way every page could look in every web browser (does the page have a header or no header? pagination or no pagination? content/script added to a sidebar? what's been added? or, nothing?).
There are many scenarios for which we can't test.
That said, we do care a great deal about how Groupsites perform in IE. The best thing you can do is report the specifics of a problem when you hear of it: the issue that occurred, the name of the user, and in what Groupsite and on what page. Knowing the web browser and version used also helps, because the first thing we do is try to duplicate the issue.
Hope this helps.
