'Join Discussion' not linking

When I get an email about a discussion topic, clicking on "Join Discussin" only takes me to the main Discussions page. Is this a bug?

Hi, Stephen. Sorry we missed an earlier reply. I'm not sure if this is a bug - I'm not able to duplicate it. Could you please email a sample case to us?
When I click on "Join Discussion" from an email, I go directly into the relevant discussion topic (with a stop at the log-in page if I'm not already).
