Invitation links not working

I've gotten a few emails from pending members saying they couldn't access our group from the invitation in order to register. Is there a shelf life on invitations? Meaning, only good for a few days? Or some other reason that would make the invitation not work? It seems to work fine if I individually re-invite the member.

No, there's no expiration date or anything. Could you give me an example of an invitation that doesn't work? I haven't seen a case yet where an invitation doesn't work, so I'd be interested in seeing what the problem is. I've seen a lot of groups recently that start up and immediately "bulk-invite" lots of members and they all seem to be signing up without any problem.
Not that I'm doubting you, of course. It just seems that there may be more to this story then invitations just "not working". Maybe there's something specific that they're doing?
One way to test this: Invite someone to your group, and when they can't get in, don't re-invite them, but just forward it to me. Or, invite me to your group and I'll test it myself.
If there's a problem here, I really want to find it. Sign-ups are an extremely important part of the site, to say the least.
The only thing I can think of is they tried to access the site from the invitation, which I think only works once. After you register, the link is inactive.
That may be the case, actually.
I started browsing through our server logs recently and noticed some people doing that very thing.
I think I'll make a change so that when someone tries to use the link for a previously used invitation, it just sends you to the login page (or the summary page if you're already logged in). That might cut down on some confusion.

We've completely redone the invitations now to have "nicer" look and feel to them.
Plus, there should be no more issues with "broken" invitation links due to email clients breaking up the link in the middle of a line.
For now, I'll consider this bug closed. But let me know if you see anymore issues in the future.
