Manager Only, Private discussions?

Forgive me for not going thru each topic and seeing if this was covered already.
I'd like to have private discussions with just the managers of the group. I saw 'member tagging' for email blasts, etc. But will the actual discussion be behind closed doors. The members shouldn't even know these are going on (not listed in 'locked' discussions, and such).
That would be useful. For now, I'll suggest to my managers that we open an entirely new ColX group for our own discussions.

Hi Dave,
We have "manager only" forums, in which only managers may view and participate.
The only thing that the users can see is the fact that the forum exists at all.

How do I go about creating a Manager Only Forum? I see where I can restrict topic creation to managers only, but not a private forum.
