Disucssion posts not wide enough - export options

My discussion postings are usually excel, word and powerpoint examples. The posting window on CollectivX appears to be about 500 pixels wide and wrapping is undesirable as is the horizontal scroll bar. The email that arrives is well formatted and preferable however members will read older posts after they join our group.
Are there any alternatives to viewing or capturing a post?
Preview the post in full screen?
Preview in another window that is closer to 1024 standard?
Send this post via email button?
Export only the posting to html (can then be viewed in a browser)?
