Creative Designs for Groupsites?

I hit the creative wall trying to come up with a creative way "doctor up" my group sites. I am looking for others to share their public site designs with the community so we can use your designs as fodder and chew it up and then spit it out as a new feature on our sites. Specifically what are people doing in the top section of the summary page!
