Merging a discussion forum with a subgroup site

We have setup a subgroup site(a Partner Exchange for our member community at http://nasscom-emerge.groupsite.com/group/exchange) and now we are trying to merge one of the discussion forum(
Partnering with the community members at http://nasscom-emerge.groupsite.com/discussion/forum/show/85540)
Is there any way this can be done..?I only see an option to delete or to move threads into the main discussion forum...
Any suggestions on how this can be done.

Hi Avinash,
Unfortunately, today you cannot move a main-level Groupsite discussion into a subgroup. In a previous post, Diana provided some tips on relocating a discussion to a subgroup.

We do have an open ticket to address portable Groupsites, Subgroups, and discussions. That ticket # is 1565.
