In one of my subgroups one member posted an idea for a custom TShirt we could have. Instead of replying (which is logical to me at least) to that thread, another member created another "TShirt idea number 2" and now I have 5 different threads about tshirts.
Maybe it just me being OCD about it, but I would like to see the ability to merge these threads into one discussion.
It's a simple usually basic feature in discussion boards, I'd like to see it added here.

I was amazed to find out I can't merge discussions. Surely this is a basic requirement for a discussion board.

Unfortunately, ticket number 1565 (Groupsite, Subgroup, and Discussion Portability) is still an open enhancement ticket. At this time we do not have an expected completion date.

why can't you just copy everything from one and paste it on to the other and then remove one or you can link them together instead of what you would like to do
you can do what i said if you are the admin for the site

you can merge them buy just copy the one and then paste it on to the other or you can link them
if you go to one and copy or get the link then put it on the the other area where it is then put the link there then you will have both on one
hope that helps
you might have to both up before you delete one to make sure it works before you delete one
