Is there a way to remove Gender from the profile creation page?

Amadie - Not today, but we agree this could be useful.
We'd like to give managers the ability to make any profile field mandatory and I've requested it as an enhancement under Ticket #1728. Unfortunately, it's not something we'll have tomorrow, but we do want to make this available in the future.
While you as a manager can't today remove the gender field, one change that's in process as I type this is that members will no longer be required to provide their gender. We'll be updating Groupsite managers soon with this news -- we have one last change to deploy before that work is completed (Ticket #1752).
