Update RSVP calendar event wipes out RSVPs and Comments

I updated the time on an RSVP calendar event and it wiped out all the previous RSVPs for the event. Would think it should at least give me the option of preserving these.

Chris - I agree completely. I have submitted this request under ticket number #2236.

Ticket #2236 is now closed. Event RSVPs for individual events do, now, automatically move when you change the date of an event. In these cases, you may want to send a new invitation to the event announcing the change and asking folks to update their response.
RSVPs and comments do not automatically move for "recurring" events if you change their date. We will be looking into that possibility under a new ticket, #2270.
