Cannot edit pasted content in the Text Editor

I just observed this. I couldn't edit the content in the Text editor when I do a copy and paste. I could edit when I type the content manually. This is happening in the latest version of Firefox.

Sanjay - I just tried to re-create this in Firefox and had no problem. When you dsay you are copying and pasting, what is the source you are copying from (Word, web etc.?)
Shaun
The source is Microsoft One Note 2007.
Shaun - Could you please take a look at this post.

This is not the Email that I sent. What the heck are these green characters. Also, all the Formatting is gone. This is not the message that I saw in the preview. This is a huge bug to me.
I just got this email. The email looks fine. No issues. Also, how do I remove the sentence "I just sent this blast". I don't see that in my preview.
Sanjay - Not to sound like a hater (even though we all use Macs here) but the problem may be Microsoft. We have encountered weird proprietary formatting issues in Microsoft that sometimes do not play nice on the web. That being said, you may want to try the "paste from Word" icon (on the Advanced Editor tab - 5th icon from the left on the bottom row). This may solve the problem.

I can do this. But, I cannot explain this is each and every user myself when they encounter this. Added to this, more than 90% of my users use Windows.
I completely understand. If Microsoft's products working the same way every time with third party apps on the web, this would be a non-issue. As we continue to revamp the system (and the text editor) we will always try to be as accommodating as possible. We are not "anti-windows" we are, however, "anti-proprietary formats that don't play nice".
