Recent Activity Module Clutter

I wish there was a way to manually prevent an item from showing up in the recent activity module.  Sometimes my members add 20 or more calendar items at a time and they take up the entire recent activity module. 

Another solution would be to have a feature where you could click "Hide this Activity" on multiple items at a time in the Recent Activity Module instead of having to do each one separately.
