Yeah I have similar issues - uploading an image while using chrome will shut down all chrome applications.
Ed, Sama - Sorry for any difficulties you may be experiencing; however, we don't currently support the Chrome browser (although we plan to in the future). You may want to try using one of the browsers we do currently support. You can read more about officially supported browsers here.
