Just A Few Suggestions..
I have been online for many years. Not all at one time of course.. But I was searching for something different and located opera.com in 2002, The site was easy to maintain and offered me just some of the things I have been searching for.. Then in 2007 I located NIng.com again I was hooked.. But I was still pulled back to my old stand by.. Opera.. Social networking was getting big every day.. I felt I needed something else.. and Just a few days ago... I located Collectivex. One thing still draws me back.. to opera and now ning.. is both of those guys have thing I like and things I dislike. but I have learn to deal with the issues.. Opera lacks the customization of entering CSS coding and only offered a handful of templates, while Ning offer many different and complex template which are very customizable even to an "basic" user like myself.. But ning lacks in the forum makeup.. at time its hard to follow, unlike Opera which I'm accustom to. So what am I getting at?.. Well yesterday I went to Wetpaint.. and got a head ache.. the site was very user unfriendly..navigation reeked..and if you use the forums there.. you cant edit or preview your mistakes.. Now to the cream of the crop.. yet collectivex have some flaws too.. Mainly I would like to see more options available to the common user Say css coding or some templates.. Otherwise I wouldn't change a thing..

I agree. Overall, CX is a great platform!
Thanks for the positive comments. I remember a co-worker almost a decade ago used to have the following on his email signature line:
"The epitome of design is not when nothing else can be added, but rather, when nothing else can be taken away."
I look at the Apple iPod as an extreme case in point - no moving parts! One perfect circle for its only control. There is nothing else to take away. Yet, it is infinitely customizable by the content you provide (from Jackson Brown to James Brown) and can be used for everything from exercise soundtrack to setting the mood for a romantic evening.
They do give you a couple of color choices. To that end, expect us to offer some templates in the near future but probably not a lot on the custom CSS coding front.

Wonderful. I have complain to other networks about the "white out" effect.. and for some odd reason Wetpaint's networks really hurts these old eyes of mine.. I just thought templates would be a welcome change and would allow me and others to get away from the "common" white pages.
Along with this request.. Maybe send out a questionnaire to all the networks.. and ask members to vote or submit template to use on the Collectivex sites.. It would be great to have about 5-10 different templates to select from.. As I stated above.. For some reason my eyes are very sensitive to the "white out" effect.. thus I would prefer a "dark scale" template to be developed.
