Sending individual/private messages via Groupsite

Just wondering, once a personal email has been sent to 1 individual, if there is a way of viewing from the senders end, what has been sent, and to whom? On facebook you can go into messages and see who the message is between and what communication has occurred since, is there a way to view this on Groupsite?

Social Media Functionality

However, I do think there has been little improvement as of late.
One thing I would like to see is an integrated suite of social media tools. FB login, Automatic Share to FB or Twitter, tracking links.
